Pie Chart
Brings up a new window illustrating the distribution of gene types as color-coded
in the legend.
Two Frame
Illustrates the genomic sequence data in both the positive and negative
directions (for each strand) of DNA.
Six Frame
Expands the available data in the sequence to account for all three
possible reading frames (depending on which amino acid you begin counting
from). Data is provided in both translation directions as well.
Text
Shows the sequence data by the base pair letters, color coded by genes.
No Tab
Determines that there will be no extra settings tabs in the lower
left corner of the Bluejay browser.
Shape Tab
Makes available a tab in the lower left corner of the Bluejay browser
for determining the configurational representation (circular or linear)
of the current data set.
Orientation Tab
Has three individual features: Rotate, Reverse Complement
and Cut (see below).
Reverse Complement
Selects the complementary DNA strand for forward representation.
Allows for viewing the complementary strand (for example, to find
ORFs).
Rotate
Rotates the circularly drawn data set by the specified degree value.
For example, inputting 45 into the degrees box and clicking on
Apply results in the circular representation rotating 45 degrees
clockwise.
Cut
Cuts the DNA strand at the point specified and redraws the document
starting with the next base after the point specified. For example,
inputting 85000 into the entry box (or sliding the slider to that base)
and clicking apply moves the first 85000 bases to the end of the
display and thus the beginning of the gene display begins at base 85001.
Show A + G% Level
Creates an additional "track" on the sequence data in the main window
to show the percentage distribution of A + G composition of the sequence.
Show C + G% Level
Creates an additional "track" on the sequence data in the main window to
show the percentage distribution of C + G composition of the sequence.
