How to use this Help

Welcome to Bluejay!   logo

Introduction

Bluejay is a set of Java™ objects for the processing, display and querying of XML encoded linear scale data. The main subject for analysis in our implementation are genetic and protein sequences, where features fall somewhere on the linear molecules. Bluejay is growing with the goal of creating a graphical genetic data viewer with point and click data mining* capabilities, available through your standard Web browser.  Please see the developers' page or the publications for more details on how Bluejay is implemented so far.
* Note that the phrase data mining here is used in the non-technical sense
